Yukata, Obidome and Fireworks!

Today we decided to share some pictures and news from Kyoto with you!!

Every year the Obon period is very festive in Japan. As this celebration honor the deceased and the ancestors, most of the people get days off to celebrate it.  Besides the fact that true Obon is in August, a wave of festivals warm up its arrival from July!

The famous Gion Matsuri just finished in Kyoto. It still marks only the beginning of a very exciting period of festivities!!
