As your own kimono is very precious, our specially selected dressers in our kimono rental shop will cope with putting it on you. Dressers in wargo put kimono on many customers every day. So when you want to wear your favorite yukata for summer festival or firework festival or you want to wear your kimono for joining wedding ceremony, party, food party, or tea party, please don’t hesitate to come to our shop wargo. Our professional dressers will dress you with your own kimono or yukata!!

Yukata

Yukata is the airy Hitoe (mainly made from thin cotton textile) that we wear without nagajuban, and it is an informal dress of summer season. We wear geta with no socks and match yukata-obi, heko-obi, or hanhaba-obi with yukata. On Hitoe we wear in summer, thin-hitoe etc. we wear on nagajuban is Natsu-kimono, and we match nagoya-obi with such kimono and wear tabi.

The komon is a kimono decorated with fine patterns. It’s a daily traditionnal dress wear with a hanhaba-obi. (Edo-Komon is excluded) It can be wear upon a unlined thin kimono or a nagajuban as summer kimono. The komon can be coordinated with the nagoya-obi and tabi.

Iromuji – One-color Kimono

Iromuji – One-color Kimono

Iromuji is a Kimono with no pattern except black color. If you wear it as daily clothing without crest, you can match it with Nagoya-Obi. If you wear it with 1 crest, you can wear it as informal court dress for tea parties etc. If you wear it with 3 crests, it will be higher class formal dress than Tsukesage and Houmongi(Visiting Kimono). We match the class of obi with the scene where you will wear Iromuji.

Houmongi – Visiting Kimono

Houmongi kimono is made by putting luxury patterns in white cloth that cross the seams, runs from the collar to chest, wraps around the lower hem of the kimono, appears on the sleeves and shoulders. Fukuro-obi is used for Houmongi because of its most formality.
