A Fun Gion Trip Plan for Girls
Hello everyone!
Today we would like to introduce the spots that we recommend for girls trip.
Starbucks Coffee Kyoto Ninenzaka Yasaka Chaya Store
“Starbucks coffee” is a coffee shop chain that is being loved around the world.
This particular store is located at a two-story Japanese house that is over 100 years old.
Here you can enjoy the very well protected good old culture, scenery and tourism of Ninenzaka.
In front of the shop, the indigo colored Starbucks flag will welcome you to the shop.
The second floor is the most recommended here!
In addition to sofa seats and table seats, there are three seating spaces where you can take off your shoes and relax at the zashiki space (the parlor), one of Kyoto’s unique culture.
A space full of playfulness, such as the hanging scrolls and the tatami mats with various patterns on its edges.
If you sit on the zashiki space, you can hear the very calming sound of water from the garden outside.
Let’s take a short break before starting your Kyoto journey!

Hanamikoji is a road that was developed in the early Meiji era and is the main north–south pedestrian thoroughfare stretching 1 km, passes through the center of Gion.
You can see various expressions of Kyoto with different atmospheres on the north and south side of the street.
In fact, the construction of the stone pavement was completed in 2001, and it was reborn into a more antique and unique townscape.
Along the Hanamikoji, there is a facility where you can enjoy modern art such as Gion Kōbu Kaburenjō and Kahitsukan-Kyoto Modern Art Museum.
The museum is famous for having a large collection including the works of Kitaōji Rosanjin, Murakami Kagaku, and Kaoru Yamaguchi.
In addition to pottery, it also stores and displays other works such as Japanese paintings, Western paintings and photographs, and it is one of the few facilities along Hanamikoji street that can be enjoyed even during the daytime, so it is a good idea to stop by during your walk!

Gion Shirakawa is a teahouse town with teahouses lining up on both sides of the road.
It is a very photogenic teahouse district.
And Gion is originally a busy place at night.
