We would like to introduce you to some of our recommended spots to visit this summer♪
Yesterday we went for a drive to Kojima, located about 30 minutes by car from Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter! ★
First, we went to [Dori Cafe] for lunch.
It’s said that the owner of Dori Cafe really liked Japanese Band called “Dreams Come True” or “Dorikamu” (ドリカム) for short.
Therefore he named his cafe as Dori Cafe.
Inside the shop, there was a screen playing live performance videos of Dorikamu♪
There are also Dorikamu goods around, it’s a perfect space for Dorikamu lovers ♡
The shop also welcomes dogs to come inside!
You can enjoy your time with your dog in this Cafe☆
At lunch, we were actually going to eat the most popular menu, “Zugo-umai Don”.
Unfortunately, it was already sold out, so we ordered “Daily Special Seafood Bowl” instead.
The portion was quite big, and it made our stomach full (^ O ^) happy~
There is a “LOVE LOVE LOVE Tree” in front of the store.
Ring the bell and take a picture under this tree, and it’s said that your dreams and love will come true! ♡
After having lunch and the stomach is full, it’s time for dessert (≧ ▽ ≦)
Let’s eat shaved ice (Kakigori)!!!
We went to [Kuramoto Sankan Brewery] for a special Kakigori★
It is about 10 minutes by car from Dori Cafe♪
The ice in Kakigori is made from Shikomi-sui (water used in Sake brewing), that’s why the shaved ice feels so soft and will immediately melt in your mouth.
Sake lees syrup, condensed milk, whipped cream, combined together, makes a really tasty shaved ice, it’s really refreshing in this hot summer day!
When you visit the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, it is also recommended to enjoy driving around this area (^^)/
Have some delicious food and cold ice afterwards!
After that, you can wear a yukata and go sightseeing in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter ★
