The Fox Shrine “Sasuke Inari Jinja” in Kamakura

Have you ever heard of “Sasuke Inari Shrine” (佐助稲荷神社) ?

It is located in Kamakura, Kanagawa prefecture. Here you can also find a rising tunnel of over hundred red torii gates, just like in Kyoto! Which is literally true as this shrine is a branch shrine of the Fushimi Inari-Taisha Shrine in Kyoto.

There are hundred of white foxes (inari) miniatures too which you can not miss when you’re travelling in the area. Some also said that if you are lucky, you may even encounter a squirrel.
